Pantone Colors Of the Year 2021

Pantone has announced the “Colors of the Year” for 2021. These are the colors that Pantone expects to dominate in the world of fashion, home furnishings, and industrial design throughout 2021. In short, it is a color trend forecast that anticipates the dominant colors for this coming year. So who is Pantone? Pantone is the company that standardized the color matching ton ensure accuracy and consistency in color duplication across industries. Their “Color of the Year” is based on color trend analysis and establishes the colors that they anticipate will be prevalent in the next year.

This year, Pantone has chosen two colors: Ultimate Gray and Illuminating (Yellow). Leatrice Eiseman, the Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, described the colors as, “the union of an enduring Ultimate Gray wth vibrant yellow Illuminating expressing a message of positivity supported by fortitude. Practical and rock solid, but ath the same time, warming and optimistic. This is a color combination that gives resilience and hope.
